Ravenwood Marketing, Inc. was founded in 2002 -  not in a garage but in a basement, like many good startups. It is based in Boulder, Colorado and serves an international client base of several hundred companies. The company is privately held, has no debt, and has been profitable since its inception.
 


Dan Murray

Dan Murray is Ravenwood’s Internet Marketing Strategist and focuses on the marketing side of the biz. Prior to founding the company, he spent roughly seven years working in director-level marketing roles at a series of Internet startups in Colorado ranging from a high-end web development shop to several email marketing and online customer relationship management firms. Dan founded and continues to run the Rocky Mountain Internet Users Group, which has grown to over 6000 members in its ten-year history. He earned an MS in statistics from Rutgers University and an undergraduate degree in engineering from the University of Notre Dame. Dan enjoys networking in an organized group of Internet entrepreneurs to which he belongs. He is an avid mountain biker, backpacker and hiker and can frequently be found snacking on locally grown treats at Boulder’s own Farmer’s Market.



Dr. Paul Fearing

Paul is our technology officer, overseeing creation of our pay-per-click analysis, tracking and campaign creation software. He specializes in understanding the latest search marketing approaches, and loves to work with large, messy data sets. Prior to co-founding Ravenwood, Paul worked as a Technical Lead for AT&T, guiding a team of up to 16 people on large-scale portability projects. Dr. Fearing has also worked in industry and academic settings on such problems as data mining, machine learning, helmet mounted virtual reality, robotics, and computer-generated special effects for movies. Dr. Fearing received his Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia, where he was both a US National Science Foundation and Canadian Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council scholar.
 


Bridget Jeffery

Bridget creates and manages Internet advertising campaigns for many of our small and large accounts. Prior to joining Ravenwood, Bridget was a management consultant with a focus on organization management and business process improvement. She worked as a Senior Consultant with a Big 5 firm and with two Boulder-based boutique consulting firms. Her clients ranged from national retailers and global transportation companies to regional hospitals.
Bridget earned her BA degree from Colorado College. She earned her MBA from the Leeds Graduate School of Business at the University of Colorado – Boulder, where her concentration was in Organization Management, Marketing and Management of Technology.
